Project Overview

ARVis investigates augmented reality (AR) for visualizing process data directly in operational environments. It enhances human-machine interaction in industrial and maintenance scenarios.

Our Goal

Develop AR-based interfaces for real-time process visualization and control. Integrate sensor and machine data into contextual AR overlays. Evaluate AR’s impact on situational awareness and decision quality.

Highlights

Combines AR with industrial IoT data streams. Supports in-situ visualization — users see data where it is produced. Conducted within the Software Campus program.

Impact

Improves efficiency and accuracy in maintenance and monitoring tasks. Bridges the gap between data visualization and physical processes. Paves the way for next-generation AR tools in Industry 4.0.
