Project Overview
Polytos (Polytope Topologies for Sensor Networks) explores adaptive network topology control for distributed sensor networks. It aims to optimize connectivity and energy efficiency dynamically.
Our Goal
Develop topology algorithms for self-organizing wireless sensor networks. Improve routing robustness under changing environmental conditions. Evaluate geometric and graph-theoretical approaches (polytope models).
Highlights
Focus on decentralized topology maintenance. Integrates simulation and physical testbeds. Part of TECO’s long-running wireless sensor network research line.
Impact
Contributes to reliable IoT and WSN infrastructure design. Reduces energy consumption and improves network longevity. Provides reusable algorithms for modern distributed IoT systems.
