Project Overview

P2P4Ubicomp explores the use of peer-to-peer (P2P) networking to support distributed ubiquitous computing environments. It aims to eliminate centralized bottlenecks and improve scalability.

Our Goal

Develop a distributed P2P middleware for ubiquitous computing. Enable decentralized resource discovery and communication. Support mobile and ad-hoc interaction between smart devices.

Highlights

Integration of P2P with context-aware systems. Supports mobile service advertisement and discovery. Prototype applications in smart spaces and mobile computing.

Impact

Advanced decentralization principles in pervasive systems. Provided architecture influencing IoT discovery frameworks. Early demonstration of P2P-enabled smart environments.
